You've wedded your reference-creatures together masterfully. Yes, yes, it's Dagon, whose nightmarish body is supposed to be an insane riot of oceanic forms -- but YOUR riot is so well interwoven that the image looks like a photograph of something real; horrific, but real! It's very convincing... and convincingly nasty. Even if you hadn't listed your fishy references, it's immediately apparent from the way you've depicted Dagon that this is something risen up from the abyssal depths of the ocean; he just LOOKS like something spawned down in the perpetual darkness where everything is monstrous and alien. Wonderful work.
